Walk the Walk (105 Min)
Picture yourself 30 feet in the air. You breathe, you climb and suddenly a 35-foot balance beam appears horizontally ahead of you. As you move forward on the Catwalk you notice that your journey changes with each confident step. Maximum of 10 participants.
The Dog Walk (30 Min)
Meet Opus, the un-official mascot of Borrego Ranch. This handsome, golden haired Adonis enjoys long walks through the resort, lazy afternoons in the shade, and meeting new people. His guilty pleasure? The occasional juicy hamburger, medium rare. Although he belongs to Borrego Ranch's Culinary Director, Jim Bailey, Opus has a wandering eye and will happily cozy-up to newcomers. Guests are welcome to tour the property with Opus. Call the front desk for availability (he's very popular, of course).
Rock On (105 Min)
Learn the basics of climbing and belay on a 30-foot-high rock climbing structure. Beginning to advanced climbing routes will allow you to explore up and beyond your perceived limitations. Maximum of 6 participants.
Labyrinth (75 Min)
Take a journey to the center of your deepest self and back out into the world with a broadened understanding of who you are. To walk the Labyrinth involves intuition, creativity and imagery. Maximum of 6 participants.
Archery (50 Min)
Learn the concepts of archery in this experiential class. Take aim at letting go, patience, suspending expectations and celebration. All instructors are NFAA certified. Weather permitting. Maximum of 6 participants. Private instruction also available by appointment (fees apply).
Desert Photography (120 Min)
Learn the basics of digital photography in our beautiful desert setting during a lecture and resort walk. Please bring your own equipment. Maximum of 8 participants.
Aqua Fun (50 Min) - Dive in to creative team play and fun communication in this challenging pool class. Swimwear required. Minimum of 2 participants.
Hiking (170 Min) - Get an informative snapshot of what the Anza Borrego State Park has to offer while visiting some of the most beautiful vistas in Borrego Springs. Expert hiking guides and Naturalists lead the way. Maximum of 8 participants.
Twilight Photography (120 Min) - The desert sky is at its most beautiful as the sun sets and the dusk skies take over the valley. Learn basic photography skills to capture the skies natural beauty. Weather Permitting. Please bring your own equipment and tripods. Maximum of 8 participants.
ATV Riding (120 Min) - Schedule yourself for a down and dirty adventure in the Ocotillo Wells State Vehicular Recreation Area. Shuttle service departs from Arrival Center. Advanced booking required. ($35 per hour, per participant plus $12 insurance fee)
Outdoor Movies (120 Min) - Join us on the events lawn to celebrate the beautiful Borrego Springs weather with a movie under the stars. Weather Permitting. Blankets provided.
Tennis Clinics (50Min) - Brush-up on your game supervised by one of our resident tennis pros in a clinic or semi-private lesson at our professional 6 court tennis facility. Minimum of 3, maximum of 10 participants. Equipment provided. Private instruction also available by appointment (fees apply).
Cycling Tours (120 Min) - Enjoy an adventurous bike tour. Take in the stunning scenery and visit historic locations throughout Borrego Springs and the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Maximum of 6 participants.
Stargazing (90 Min) - Looking into the nighttime sky is no ordinary activity at Borrego Ranch.The absence of light pollution provides for stargazing so impressive, the region has been nominated as a Dark Sky Community by the International Dark Sky Association. Only one other city on the planet has been awarded this distinction. Enjoy a lecture and viewings with a celebrated astronomer. Limited telescopes available.
Borrego Journey (105 Min) - Tour Borrego Ranch and experience The Sherpa Walk, Bridges, Hot Stuff, and Desert Whale Watching. This course is designed for individuals and groups to discover their strengths through problem solving games and team play. Maximum of 8 participants.
At Your Own Pace - Mountain Bikes, 5 resort pools, state-of-the-art Fitness Center, floodlit tennis courts, a mile long Jogging/Walking Track, Bocce Ball, Croquet, Shuffleboard, Life Size Chess, and Ping Pong may be enjoyed at your leisure.
Property Tour - Enjoy an informative guided tour of Borrego Ranch Resort & Spa. Take in Original Artwork and Adobe Walls that have lasted the test of time. Learn the history of the resort and it's evolution into Borrego Ranch Resort & Spa.
