Fitness & Movement Classes
Borrego Ranch Resort and Spa offers a variety of Fitness and Movement classes. Most classes are suitable for all fitness levels, although they will vary in pace and intensity. Please honor your physical boundaries when participating in any group or individual program or activity.
Hatha Yoga (50 Min) – Quiet your mind, open your heart, and strengthen your body with our traditionally based Hatha yoga class. We begin with breath work and meditation which leads into carefully orchestrated yoga poses that are suitable for all level students.
Aquaerobics (50 Min) – Burn calories, improve circulation and condition your heart and muscles with NO IMPACT! Experience a smooth, flowing, enjoyable workout and the unique benefits that water has to offer. Appropriate for all fitness levels and ages.
Morning Walk & Stretch (50 Min) – Enjoy a variety of movements, postures and stretches that will warm you up for a 1 mile brisk walk specifically developed to help you start your day out right!
Water Tai Chi (50 Min) – Water Tai Chi's smooth and rhythmic synchronization of movement and breath emphasizes balance and posture and the relationship between the body and mind. Weather permitting. Swimwear required.
Core Essentials (30 Min) – Abs and glutes are targeted in this short, yet intense workout for both men and women. Burn baby burn!
Gravity Training (50 Min) – The Gravity Training System works somewhat like a Pilates Reformer using your bodyweight for resistance instead of springs. This unique apparatus offers real weight training benefits, high caloric output and above all, true "functional training" on an unequalled level. Private instruction also available by appointment (fees apply).
Circuit Training (50 Min) – Circuit training is an efficient and challenging form of conditioning. It works well for developing strength, endurance (both aerobic and anaerobic), flexibility and coordination. Instructors will teach proper form for 9 high-quality weight bearing machines.
Intro to Fitness (30 Min) – Learn about the equipment, programs, services and instruction offered at the fitness center, followed by a fitness question and answer session with one of our instructors/personal trainers.
